What’s hot?

Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Shehzada has all the elements that make a Bollywood movie masaledaar. Though it is a remake of Telugu film, he has tried to add Bollywood’s tadka in the right proportions. From comedy to action, Shehzada has it all. Although Kartik Aaryan has already shown his strengths in comedy and drama, he has tried his hands and passed with flying colors. The actor has only shown progress when it comes to acting. He got the essence and feel of the movie right, making Shehzada a great family entertainer. After Dhamaka and Freddy, it’s nice to see Kartik Aaryan get back to what he does best – being the ultimate Bollywood hero. Kriti Sanon’s presence on screen is unmissable and she has played the role of Samara with utmost dedication. Needless to say, Paresh Rawal is the highlight of the movie. He is one of the most versatile actors and he can never deviate from the map. Other supporting actors like Ronot Roy, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav have played their roles in perfect amounts.

What not?

Sometimes it feels like the filmmakers got carried away when it comes to over-the-top action and drama. While the dialogue flows smoothly, the comedy seems forced at times. The first half of the movie gets off to a slow start, but in the second half, the drama and comedy is limitless.

Pronunciation:
