Kathryn Hahn stars as an advice columnist in Hulu’s newly released trailer for “Tiny Beautiful Things.”

Is. Just as she feels that her life has really fallen apart, an old friend asks her to take over an advice column he wrote called “Dear Sugar”.

Set to Maggie Rogers’ “Light On,” the trailer shows Hahn considering questions from anonymous readers of “Dear Sugar,” traveling back in time through their memories to offer their advice.

“What would I tell my 22-year-old self?” The trailer cuts back to young Claire (Sarah Pidgeon), who is fresh out of college ready to become a writer as Hahn’s voice says. “Stop worrying if you’re fat. Who gives a shit? Your nose is perfect. Don’t take your mom for granted, she won’t be here forever.”

Claire lost her mother Frankie (MERRITT WEAVER) to cancer earlier in life than she thought. Her own fractious relationship with her mother is echoed in her relationship with her daughter, who is now going through adolescence as well as the prospect of her parents separating.
