Kelly Osbourne will explore the 1980s as host of AXS TV series

Kelly Osbourne is paying tribute to the decade of her birth as the host of the upcoming AXS TV series “The Very Very Best of the 80s,” TheWrap can exclusively reveal.

The series will examine the big names, big hits and big moments that defined a generation. It “takes viewers on a nostalgia-filled journey through an age-old popular culture that made the decade most triumphant—and continues to attract fans both old and new today,” according to Chanel.

Some of the themes explored in each episode include TV’s hottest theme songs, top action movie stars, biggest celebrity couples, the decade’s hottest toys and horror movies that still define the genre nearly four decades later.

In a clip from the series, Osbourne discusses the “Dukes of Hazard” theme song with celebrities including Morgan Fairchild, Chris Kirkpatrick and Chris Reed—all of whom dive into the song and their association with the show.

In addition to Kirkpatrick, Fairchild and Reid, Osbourne will join a rotating panel of guests that includes Todd Bridges, Anson Williams, Susan Olsen, John Sally, Tia Carrere, Tracy Gould, Dan Cortés, Olivia D’Abo, Perez Hilton and others. , Jolie Fischer and more.
