Kimmel Wonders If Kanye ‘Been A Sacha Baron Cohen Character’ All Along (VIDEO)

Kanye West is once again in the news for disturbing, anti-Semitic talk. this time, it’s a CNN report His “troubling” interest in Adolf Hitler has a long history. And that’s Jimmy Kimmel Thursday wondering if Kanye has been a true Baron Cohen practical joke.

The joke came during Kimmel’s monologue, right after he ended some jokes about Georgia US Senate candidate Herschel Walker.

“Herschel Walker really owes Kanye West for the attention he deserves,” Kimmel said. “Kanye is back on Instagram after his account was banned for anti-Semitic posts.”

“Arie Emmanuel,” Kimmel began, “Arie Emmanuel is a very powerful agent in Hollywood, writing an op-ed asking others to boycott Kanye. [Kanye] Wrote, ‘I lost $2 billion in one day and I’m still alive. This is love speech. I still love you God still loves you. Money is not who I am. People are who I am.'”

“Well, not the Jewish people,” quipped Kimmel, “but the people are what they are. Does anyone else feel like we’re about to find out that, for the past 20 years, Kanye has been a Sacha Baron Cohen character? Used to be? “

“CNN reported today that a business executive who worked closely with Kanye said Kanye was a big fan — a fan — anyone guessing who?” Kimmel expressed.

“Anyone says Hitler. Yes, he was Hitler. The source asked not to be named because of a confidentiality agreement and fear of retaliation from Kanye. Well, I don’t think he has anything to worry about there. Very Quiet man,” joked Kimmel.

Kimmel noted the strangest (and possibly most disturbing) element of the story – the allegation that Kanye wanted to name an album after Hitler.

“Joe, that would be something. ‘The new Hitler downloaded. It’s tight. I have to say this,'” Kimmel backtracked. “It’s so crazy, it’s hard to believe it’s not a joke. You know, in the mid-2000s — I don’t know if you remember — when Nas and Jay Z were feuding, Kanye was the voice of reason. He tried to bring them together. ,

Then Kimmel came up with some nice sentences: “He wanted to have a Nas-Z meeting. And maybe even a Nas-Z party.” We get it, Jimmy. The audience, of course, didn’t indulge, prompting Kimmel to say “Come on now. You liked that.”

Of course there’s more, and you can watch the full monologue above right now.
