Since Ananya Panday met her mentor Karan Johar during her recent stay at Koffee With Karan 7, many skeletons came out. It seems the filmmaker knew a lot about his “student of the year” and even joked a few interesting anecdotes about her life. While the liger actress cleverly dodges questions about her own life, we can’t say the same about her candor about other people’s love lives, especially about the much-talked-about couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.
Koffee With Karan 7: Did Ananya Panday Just Confirm Kiara Advani’s Relationship With Sidharth Malhotra?
The Rapid Fire round may have started with the politically correct Ananya Panday providing answers, but as it progressed, the momentum certainly picked up and during the last few sections, we got to see the actress be her candid self as she responded. The last part of her Rapid Fire round involved revealing the relationship status of the given celebrities. It started with Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya’s response was “It feels like he’s in a hurry to meet Mika Singh”, referring to the Swayamvar the musician had recently attended. The actress made the comment after seeing the popularity of her liger co-star on the show.
She was then asked about Tiger Shroff, to which the actress wittily replied with a hint at Disha Patani, adding, “He knows his Disha. His directions are very clear.” When asked about Janhvi Kapoor, the Gehraiyan actress claimed, “she’s a single pringle.” When he finally asked about Kiara Advani, Ananya Panday referred to the song she played with Sidharth Malhotra and said “Her raatans are very lambiyan”. When Karan prodded further by asking who her ‘Ranjha’ is, Ananya just hissed. But Karan finished her sentence and added, “Wake Up Sid,” to which Ananya nodded in agreement.
On the other hand, speaking of her own love life, Ananya Panday maintained extreme secrecy. Although she has her previous relationship with Khaali Peelic star Ishaan Khatter, when asked about Aditya Roy Kapur, she clearly maintained the ‘cliche’ neutral stance of ‘we’re just good friends’.
