Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon will reunite in upcoming horror comedy Bhediya. Aided by Amar Kaushik, the film marks the actors’ second project together after Dilwale in 2015. While they have grown as actors, they have also evolved a lot when it comes to their physical features. Well, at least Kriti Sanon thinks so.

Playing a werewolf in Bhediya, Varun Dhawan dabbles in the horror comedy space for the first time. It also marks the third project in Maddock Films’ horror comedy genre to follow Stree and roohi. Although the actors had wrapped up the project, it seems that some parts need to be filmed, including a song shoot. On Friday, the two actors were all decked out for a song shoot, which is being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. The actors posed together for the paparazzi while also snapping photos with director Amar Kaushik.
Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram story Friday night to share a collage of then and now photos of her and Varun. Along with the photo, which was shared by her fan club, she wrote: “I have become chubby Sanon while you have become Varun The Man.” She used smiley and heart smiley emojis and tagged Varun Dhawan in the post.
Bhediya will be heavy on visual effects. Featuring Hollywood’s finest effects studio, Mr. X, the film is said to have some superb visual effects. mr. X, the award-winning effects company, part of Technicolor Creative Studios, is known for its amazing creature and environment work in the Oscar-nominated Love and Monsters and the Emmy-winning Vikings.
Bhediya was written by National Award winner Niren Bhatt. Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films Present, Bhediyais scheduled for release on November 25, 2022.
