Sidharth reportedly went into cardiac arrest and was put to death at Cooper Hospital, Juhu, Mumbai. Since his death, his mother Rita Shukla has been involved with the NGO Brahma Kumaris and spends time there with the children. On his first day of death, the photo of the entire Shukla family along with his close friends has surfaced online, leaving fans wet-eyed. In the photo you can see Rita maa standing up straight and being brave. Rita Shukla has embarked on a path of spirituality after the loss of her only son.

While some fans question the absence of Shehnaaz Gill, knowing full well that the girl is extremely attached to the family and has been in contact with them even after the death of the actor.
