Lupita Nyong’o Stars On Day One Of Pig Director Michael Sarnoski

Black Panther: Wakanda and 12 years slave star Lupita Nyong’o joins another cinematic universe, the A quiet place universe. Per Varietythe Academy Award-winning actor is in final negotiations to star A quiet place: day onethe next installment in the Paramount horror franchise.


The third movie in the A quiet place franchise will play Nyong’o in an undisclosed role, with the details of the story currently being kept a secret. The original idea for the third installment comes from John Krasinksi, who co-directed and starred in the first two films with his wife Emily Blunt. However, the short-lived star and director of Reed Richards will not return for Day oneof Pig director Michael Sarnoski is heading the new film, which will be released on March 8, 2024.

The first two films were set on a post-apocalyptic Earth taken over by blind monsters who use a form of echolocation to hunt human prey. In 2018 A quiet placeKrasinski and Blunt play Lee and Evelyn Abbott, the parents of two young children named Marcus and Regan, played by Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds, who struggle to raise their children in a world overrun by monsters.
