Lust Stories 2 actor Kumud Mishra has received rave reviews for his performance in the short film where he plays this abusive husband to Kajol, and boy is he just perfect in character. BollywoodLife had an exclusive chat with this talented actor where he spoke his heart out about why he immediately said yes to Lust Stories 2. When asked if he was hesitant or clumsy when doing such bold and intimate scenes, he said: Initially I was very worried and uncomfortable about certain scenes and the character I was playing, but my director, Amit Ji, was so good that I let myself in, and you can see the result”. Speaking of Kajol, he praised the actress saying, “She has shown exceptional body work over the years, and the way she transforms herself into the character is just a visual treat, and there were no awkward moments between us; the first day we had a good bond, and the kind of actor she is makes her job as a go-star easy”. Kumud Mishra rose to fame doing influential jobs, and when we asked him if he was surprised by getting an offer from such a shady character, he said, “Not at all, Mukesh Chandra told me that he has such a thing in mind and he feels i should do this part and i was beaming with joy inside because sometimes what happens is you asked for doubt but people like these give you the assurance that you can play roles like that and honestly i know yourself how dirty I am, and I can do this role or not (he laughed)”.
