If there’s one actor the entire nation is probably waiting for to see the return of the big screen and be successful at it, it must be it. Shah Rukh Khan, that’s his craze, no doubt boosted by his ‘more than 4 years plus’ absence from the big screen in a full-fledged role. We will, SRK is certainly not disappointing with its trio of more than life size and what looks like really interesting subjects lined up in the front of Pathan, jawan and Dunkic. However, not many people are aware that in addition to these three films, Shah Rukh was also in conversation with several National price-winning director Madhur Bhandarkar for a movie. Kinshuk Sen, who plays Kuljit, Simran’s future husband in the musical, says: “We have one of the greatest South Asian casts I’ve ever seen on a Western stage, also led by a creative team that is also predominantly from South. -Asia exists.. Being from Delhi but having lived and worked in the US for almost ten years now I have almost always been the only person of color let alone the only Indian person in any circle I am a part of So being part of a team where my voice is represented and heard, and that too positively and accurately, means the world to me. Our culture is so beautiful and yet I feel like we in the west never got our due … up to now!”
