Adivi Sesh star Important released in June this year. The film explored the life of the 26/11 hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film received a positive response from both audiences and critics. Not only has the film been critically acclaimed and box office success, but it has received another kudos as it was selected as a Hindi film at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

At the same time, an extremely ecstatic Adivi Sesh shared his feelings: “It is a very proud moment for me. The moment I was informed that Important was selected for the Hindi category at IFFI, it really made me happy and it was a surreal feeling. It is a special moment for the entire team that put their heart and soul into this film,” Mid-Day writes in a report.
Important was recorded simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. In addition, movies like RRR and Jai Bhim out of 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films have also been selected at IFFI in their respective categories. However, Important is the only pan-Indian film to be selected as an all-Hindi film.
Along with Sesh, the film also featured Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Murali Sharma and Anish Kuruvilla, among others. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, it was jointly produced by G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, Sony Pictures International Productions and A+S Movies.
Coming to his professional front, the 36-year-old actor has a number of projects up his sleeve, including the sequel of TOUCH. interesting, HIT 2 was set to be released on December 2 of this year. The upcoming film will also star Menakshii Chaudhary, Rao Ramesh, Bhanu Chander, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Maganti and Komali Prasad.
