A few days ago Mika Singh announced Akanksha Puric as winner of Swayamvar Mika Di Vohtic. The actress entered Mika Singh’s wedding-hunting TV show Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti as a wildcard entrant and was ultimately chosen as the winner by the singer herself. Mika and Akanksha have known each other for a long time. They’ve been friends, while many people were delighted that Mika chose Akanksha, there were a few who questioned the show’s authenticity. Akanksha Puri has responded to all allegations.
Mika Singh chooses Akanksha Puri as his bride-to-be
In a long segment consisting of Mehendi, Sangeet and Haldi functions, followed by the important decision of Mika Singh, Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti concluded on Monday. Mika Singh took his own time to announce who his future bride would be. He was confused between Neet Mahal and Akanksha Puri. While Akanksha has been his friend for about 13 years, in Swayamvar Mika Di Vohti he developed a strong friendship with Neet Mahal. The third contestant and finalist was Prantika Das. However, he wanted his future wife to be his lifelong friend and so he chose Akanksha.
Fans doubt Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti is fake
Like many reality TV shows, Swayamvar Mika Di Vohti has made it to the news because it’s fake and scripted. Once Akanksha Puri dropped pictures with Mika Singh of Swayamvar Mika Di Vohti’s grand finale, social media users were quick to say that they would believe them and their relationship if they dropped the real photos from their wedding. Akanksha Puri Responds To Mika Di Vohti Being Scripted And Fake
In an interview with ETimes, Vighnaharta Ganesha actress Akanksha Puri reacted to everyone who “pre-planned” this idea of everything for Swayamvar Mika Di Vohti. The actress said her entry was not planned. She said Mika Singh was genuinely surprised when he saw her as a wildcard entrant. Akanksha shared that she and Mika have been friends and have never dated or romanticized each other. She adds: “I would like to reiterate that this is not a sham. But things have to happen gradually over a period of time.” On why they didn’t get married on stage, Akanksha adds that marriage is a big decision and requires a lot of thought. She said you can’t just get married after completing some tasks on the show.
