It was unfortunate when Naga Chaitanya announced his divorce with the love of his life Samantha Ruth Prabhu in October last year. While both Samantha and Chaitanya have been tight-lipped about the reason that led to their divorce, Laal Singh Chaddha’s actor has revealed how his breakup with Samantha has affected his professional life.
“I’ve built myself so that my personal life doesn’t affect my professional life. But when personal life is brought to the fore, of course it becomes more of a headline than your professional life. That gets really frustrating. You don’t want people around your personal life with your professional life because I don’t connect it and I have created a very clear barrier between the two,” Naga Chaitanya told Bollywood Life in an exclusive interview.
“It’s sad sometimes to see out of the blue they connect my personal life with my movies, what someone said and what happened. But alas, that’s the way it is today, news replaces news, so I’m just teaching myself to stay harder working at my job and made my work shine. And eventually it will,” he added.

On Koffee With Karan 7, Samantha spoke about having hard feelings with her ex-husband, adding that their separation was not amicable. “There are cruel feelings, like if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects. So from now on, yes. It’s not a friendly situation now. It could be in the future,” she said.
Although the Shakuntalam actress revealed how she felt when she realized she had to divorce Naga Chaitanya, she kept the reason for the divorce a secret ever since. The cause of their split has remained a mystery to their admirers, and neither side is saying anything.
