Nancy Lenehan has joined the cast for ABC’s comedy pilot “Drop-Off,” the network announced Thursday.
“A League of Their Own” actress Julia (Ellie Kemper), the sweet and warm mother of a working mom herself who struggles to balance parenting with her career, will play series regular Marianne. According to the announcement, Marianne is a character who, after seeing the pressures of being a single mother, was more than happy to lend a hand helping look after her grandson.
