What’s hot?
Every frame from Dasara is stunning. There is not a single frame and shot that will disappoint you. Srikanth Odela has undoubtedly landed a blockbuster debut with Dasara. Nani’s performance is outstanding. He is as good as Dharani that because of that you will see a completely new version of Nani. He got so deep into Dharani’s skin that you can’t see Nani but only the character. Dheekshith Shetty scores a hit with his debut and he has a long way to go in Telugu cinema. Keerthy Suresh proved again that she is an actress who can shape herself according to any character she plays. No one else could have done Vennela better than she. Shine Tom Chacko, the opponent also made his Telugu debut with Dasara and has proved himself to be the perfect choice to play this Dasara’s Ravanasura.

Director Srikanth Odela has written a story that is so close to reality that it will easily catch on with the audience. He made a film rich in culture and art. The perfect Telangana dialect is one of the greatest assets and USPs of the film. The friendship between Dharani and Soori is so strong and the whole movie revolves on the same emotion. An emotion that everyone can identify with and connect with. Despite being a Telugu language film, which has been dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, audiences from all over India will be able to resonate with the Dasara, making Indian cinema another Pan-India marvel.

Costumes, production designs, larger than life sets, make-up and dialogue deserve a special mention. Music and background music by Santosh Narayanan brought life to the film. Since Dasara is a raw and rustic film that tells an emotional story, music plays a major role and perfectly complements the setting and storyline. Speaking of the visuals, you will find yourself becoming a part of the Dasara universe with the immersive experience. DOP Sathyan Sooryan’s camera work is amazing. The frames, color tone and everything about the images would make you addicted to the screen.

What not?
In Dasara only the violence is unbearable after a certain time. Some scenes are too OTT and for non-fans of extreme action and violence, these scenes can be a downer.

BL verdict: Dasara is a must see movie if you are someone who likes to watch action entertainers with a good storyline. Check it out to see Nani in an impressive, never-before-seen avatar and for impeccable performances from the entire cast.
