Imlie takes a leap; Karan Vohra, Megha Chakraborty, Seerat Kapoor Join Cast

Generational jumps have become a major problem on Indian television. Imlie recently made a generational jump after the older versions of Cheeni and Imlie were introduced to the show. While Seerat Kapoor has joined the cast as Cheeni, Megha Chakraborty is seen as Meethi Imlie. On the other hand, Karan Vohra has entered the show as Agastya Rana, a rockstar DJ. Fans don’t seem to be able to accept the new storyline. They have expressed their opinion on the promo released by the channel about the generational leap. Some find it the same repeat story as Aditya Tripathi and therefore find it very boring. Megha Chakraborty and Karan Vohra reunite

For the uninitiated, Megha Chakraborty and Karan Vohra previously worked in Krishna Chali London. They played Krishna and Dr Veer in the show. And this is the second time the two have paired up as jodi on a TV show. Megha and Karan fans are happy with their combination, but the storyline seems redundant.

Recently, in an interview, Karan Vohra spoke about being nervous as it marks his comeback on TV after Krishna Chali London, which went off air in 2019.
