Nikki Tamboli calls nepotism debate ‘bullshit’; reveals why she turned down Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10

After her successful stint on Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14, Nikki Tamboli is inundated with work. From music videos to Khatron Ke Khiladi, Nikki has had a lot on her plate. She is now waiting to make her Bollywood debut and has already turned down many movie offers coming her way. Amid her busy schedule, Nikki shared her two cents on the nepotism debate, calling it “bullshit” for feeling more privileged as an outsider than a star child. In her recent interview, Nikki said she feels she can come a long way because she believes her hard work will pay off. She added that since she does not have a backup plan, she will strive for excellence to achieve her goals. “Nepotism is all bullshit. It exists in all areas. I don’t believe in it, I just believe in working hard and hitting the target in the right direction,” she told Spotboye. She further revealed that she has turned down the upcoming reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 because she wants to explore new opportunities in movies and OTT space. “Right now I want to explore things other than reality shows. I read a lot of scripts for OTT projects and movies. So I thought I should take a break from reality shows this year and explore other things,” she said. Nikki said she loves Bollywood masala movies and she is currently waiting for the right opportunity to make her acting debut. “I have a lot of offers, but I want something different and big in front of a good actor. I’m just waiting for the right opportunity to pop. I don’t want to rush anything. I believe that slow and steady wins the race,” she added .
