Nyrraa Banerji, Simba Nagpal and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary talk about their plans for Janmashtami

Nyrra Banerji (Pishachini)
“We Mumbaikars celebrate every festival with the utmost joy. Janmashtami is one of my most favorite. I feel calm when I listen to Lord Krishna bhajans. Janmashtami’s vibes are surreal. This year I celebrate this day with my family and go outside to witness the famous ‘Dahi-handi’ in the city. Moreover, we have also planned a wonderful party on the sets of Pishachini. While I’ll be playing the evil character and won’t be part of the on-screen celebrations, but I’ll definitely be celebrating the festival off-screen with my co-actors.”

Simba Nagpal (Naagin 6)
“I remember in my early school days; we celebrated this festival by dressing up as ‘Kanhaji’. We were spoiled with a lot of delicious food and love. This year we decided to do a small function at home as I had a day before and after the festival shoot for Naagin 6. We celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna at midnight followed by a puja and offer special preparations like panjiri, kheer, Maakhan-mishri, etc. My only wish this year is that ‘May Lord Krsna take away everyone’s tensions and worries and bestow all love, peace and happiness’.”

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary (Udaariyaan)
“I am super excited to celebrate this year’s Janmashtami. Everyone on the set of Udaariyaan plans to keep the celebrations off screen as well. The entire cast and crew will be doing a maha aarti for Lord Krishna and his idol on waving the ‘jhula’ according to the traditions. I can’t wait to enjoy this day with everyone.”
