“Chicago Fire,” “Chicago PD” and “Chicago Made” gave the network the highest demo ratings and total viewership for the night.
NBC’s “One Chicago” franchise won both the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and overall average audiences for the network on Wednesday night, according to Nielsen’s Live Plus same-day data. The number of demos this week increased slightly from the previous week to 0.63, and the overall average viewership remained at 6.4 million.
Starting at 8 p.m., “Chicago Made” combined to rack up 0.64 in ratings and 6.9 million overall average viewers. It was no match for 9 PM, where “Chicago Fire” made its way to the network’s highest total average viewership of the night with 7 million average viewers while receiving a 0.64 rating. NBC strengthened the night with “Chicago PD”, which earned a 0.60 rating and attracted an average audience of 5.6 million.

As we mentioned above, NBC won on Wednesday in both ratings and overall average viewership. Next in the ratings was Fox, which drew in a ratings score of 0.52 and ranked third in total viewership with an average viewership of 2.8 million.
The Foxes made their primetime debut by catching the end of MLB’s National League Championship Series Game Two, where the San Diego Padres defeated the Philadelphia Phillies. CBS ranked third in ratings with 0.4 in the major demographic and earned second place in terms of overall average viewership with 2.9 million. The CW demo was fifth in ratings with an average of 0.07 and an average of 405,000 in total viewers, which drops to 46,000 average viewers from the previous week. “Stargirl” released a new episode in its third season, earning a rating of 0.09 and attracting an average audience of 423,000. Next was a new episode of “Kung Fu”, which received a rating of 0.06 and an average viewership of 387,000.
