This morning at 8:30am ET/5:30am PT, Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams will announce the nominees for the 95th Academy Awards live from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. . This is the first in-person nomination announcement with the press present since before the pandemic.
Going into the morning, “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” “The Fabelmans” and “Elvis” are likely to rack up multiple nominations. But as Steve Pond, executive awards editor for TheWrap, pointed out in his final predictions, with the Academy bigger and more international than ever, we should prepare for several surprises.
