Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra has wowed everyone with her action avatar in Code name: Tiranga and she revealed that she suffered a lot of bruises and injuries to become the spy agent in the film. The actress shared a video of her weapons training on Friday, revealing how she worked and trained for the role.

“If you’re doing weapons training but want to use your skills on the action director himself because he won’t let you rest,” Parineeti wrote. In the video, she trains with her action director Yannick Ben. “I’ll kill you, Yan,” she yells and laughs towards the end of the clip.
Parineeti Chopra added: “Countless bruises and heat massages later, Agent Durga (aka stronger me) is ready for action movie No. 2. Bring it on! Action heroine in training. Code name: Tiranga. stunts.”
It was recently revealed that the role required her to learn the Israeli martial art Krav Maga for three months in order to perfect her role as an elite agent in the film. Developed for the Israel Defense Forces, Krav Maga is derived from a combination of techniques used in aikido, judo, karate, boxing and wrestling! Parineeti recently said: “By the end of most days I had injuries and bruises all over my body, and the next day most makeup would be needed, not on my face, but to cover my injuries. I am Extremely happy with the way people like my action shots in the trailer and it’s a great thing for someone like me who has never done action as a genre before.”
Code name: Tiranga also plays Harrdy Sandhu opposite Parineeti and will hit theaters worldwide on October 14, 2022.
