The untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14, 2020 had left the entire entertainment industry in shock. Many people blamed nepotism for the actor’s death and called for a boycott of star children and their films. Movie producers are still excited about launching star kids, which is bothering reality show star Prince Narula. He recently said that artists like him may not even get the chance to appear on the big screen. While he thinks the public is too eager to see star kids, Prince said people’s perceptions have changed after Sushant’s death.
“Everyone wants to be seen on the big screen, but they have so many star kids to launch that we don’t know if we’ll ever get a chance. Even if we get a part, it’ll be the part of a brother or another (So I feel that whatever you do you have to excel at that and I feel like I excelled in reality shows,” Prince told Siddharth Kannan. While Prince feels it is difficult to gain entry into Bollywood, he added added, “People’s perceptions have changed a lot since Sushant’s passing.”
However, Prince acknowledged that star kids don’t have an easy journey either and that only the hard work counts. “People love star kids; it’s not their fault their parents are stars. They have to work hard too. It’s not like they can move on in life without working hard because there are a lot of star kids who have flopped. work that counts, that’s all that matters,” he said.
After winning reality shows such as Roadies, Splitsvilla, Bigg Boss and Nach Baliye, Prince was last seen on the Kangana Ranaut hosted show Lock Upp as a troublemaker. Along with his wife Yuvika Chaudhary, he also continues to release music videos on their YouTube channel Winning Records.
