Katrina Kaif is all set to experiment with her characters and has now decided to play the role of a ghost in Phone Bhoot. The actress has been brought in by Excel Entertainment to star in their horror comedy which also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter.

The first look of the film with the trio – Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter has aroused the curiosity of the public because of the unusual casting. A source close to the film confirmed that the actress said: “Phone Bhoot is undoubtedly a film that has been the talk of the town for a long time. Although audiences know some elements of the story and the film, the big question that everyone asked was wondered the details of the ghost in the film.While we have seen Katrina portray many glamorous characters in her intriguing filmography, this time she will see the character of a ghost play for the first time in the film.As the film will see this Diwali season come out it would be exciting to see Katrina play such a different role on the big screen Katrina coming as a ghost with her signature charm would be a treat to see in the movie Phone Bhoot will also be the first movie from Kartina after her marriage.”

Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter recently attended Koffee With Karan 7 hosted by Karan Johar. While the audience glimpses their off-screen camaraderie, they seem quite excited to see them on the big screen together as well. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath, Phone Bhoot is produced by Excel Entertainment, under the direction of Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The film will be a post-Diwali release and is all set to be released on November 4.
