Phone Bhoot Star Ishaan Khatter Reveals His Top 5 Horror Movies

Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Phone Bhoot releases after Halloween. The film is a horror comedy and is sure to leave moviegoers guessing what will happen next in the plot. The trailer for the film reveals that Katrina’s character is a ghost. All three are together in an effort to find ghosts and give them moksha. We couldn’t stop asking Ishaan about his horror movie binge list as Halloween is just around the corner.

During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Life, the Dhadak actor revealed that Urmila Matondkar’s Bhoot, Exorcist, Hereditary, Robert Agers’ The Witch and Phone Booth are his top 5 favorite horror movie binge list. Talking about Urmila Matondkar and Ajav Devgn’s Bhoot movie, it was released in 2012 and it was directed by Ram Gopal Verma. Urmila played the part of a ghost-possessed woman whose husband did not know how to save her. You can watch the movie on Amazon Prime Video.

Talking about Exorcist, it was created by Jeremy Slater and tells the story of two priests dealing with the case of a demon present that targets a family and a foster home. The cast includes Ellen Burstyn (Chris MacNeil), Max Von Sydow (Vader Lankester Merrin), Jason Miller (Vader Damien Karras) Linda Blair (Regan MacNeil) just to name a few. Ishaan also likes The Witch by Robert Eggers, a story of how a family in the 1630s in New England is torn apart by the powers of black magic, witchcraft and property. You can watch the same on Amazon Prime Video. Continuing to talk about Ishaan’s next favorite horror film Hereditary, it deals with the story of a grieving family haunted by tragic events. The cast has Toni Collette, Alex Wolff just to name a few. We don’t need to tell you about Phone Bhoot’s amazing cast as we all know. The film will be released on November 4, 2022 and is directed by Ritesh Sidhwani.
