A new look has been released for Prime Video’s live-action series adaptation of precipitation. Based on the popular video game franchise, the series is currently in the works, as seen in a video posted to YouTube by the streaming platform. The video, which you can watch below, takes us behind the scenes with some of the adaptation’s creative team sharing their thoughts on bringing the world of precipitation to life on the small screen.
“When We Think Of” precipitation and his future, obviously there will be games in the future. In the near future there’s something brand new that I’m super excited about is the TV show,” said Bethesda’s Todd Howard, who serves as executive producer, explaining how long it took to get the adaptation made.

Meanwhile, art director Istvan Pely says he’s “blown away” by how much their original visions and designs have been recreated for the TV series. Jonathan Nolan, co-founder of the west world series with Lisa Joy, directs precipitation. He can be seen on set in the video immersing himself in the precipitation world.
“I’m not familiar with” precipitation’, Nolan jokes when asked about the series before getting a Nuka Cola to drink from someone wearing power armor off-screen.
Nolan then confesses how much fan he is precipitation by declaring, “precipitationyes, the post-apocalyptic, humorous, dark, gloomy, brilliantly written, annoyingly playable video game franchise.”
Fallout opens the vault at Prime Video
The cast includes Ella Purnell (Army of the Dead, Yellow jackets), Walton Goggins (The Righteous Gems), Kyle MacLachlan (Dune), Xelia Mendes-Jones (Sans Comic), and Aaron Moten (Father Stu). Nolan and Joy are developing the series for Prime Video, and it has been reported that Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner will serve as showrunners.

So we’re incredibly excited to be working with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this vast, subversive and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.”
Prime Video has yet to set an official premiere date for precipitation.
