Just a day ago, news that Raju Srivastava had regained consciousness went viral after certain reports claimed the actor-comedian came off a ventilator. However, daughter Antara Srivastava denied this and took to Instagram to share a note in which she not only informed everyone about Raju’s health condition, but also asked them to believe only statements from relatives and doctors. In the note, however, Antara assured fans and well-wishers that the actor-comedian’s health is indeed improving.

Antara Srivastava took to Raju Srivastava’s official Instagram account to share a note that read: “Dear all well-wishers, My father Raju Srivastava Ji’s condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is currently on a ventilator.” The statement came after Raju Srivastava’s personal secretary, Garvit Narang, assured everyone that the actor-comedian is no longer on a ventilator and has regained consciousness in a statement to ANI news agency.
Furthermore, in her note, Antara also requested everyone to trust only information provided by the AIIMS Hospital in Delhi and Raju Srivastava’s official social media accounts. “Only statements from AIIMS Delhi and Raju Ji’s official social media accounts are reliable and genuine. Any other news or statements from anyone else is unreliable. The doctors and their entire team at AIIMS Delhi work hard and diligently. We are grateful to them and their benefactors. Request all of you to continue your love and prayers for his speedy recovery,” the statement concluded.
For the uninitiated, Raju Srivastava was admitted to AIIMS Delhi after the actor-comedian collapsed during his gym workout on August 10 due to cardiac arrest. He was rushed to hospital by his trainer, and later doctors had to perform CPR at least twice to restore his heartbeat. Followed by the incident, the actor-comedian is also said to have suffered brain damage and is currently on a ventilator.
