Rakul Preet Singh, who will soon be seen in the role of a doctor in the upcoming medical-campus comedy drama Doctor G starring Ayushmann Khurrana, treated fans to a special behind-the-scenes video that takes us into the film’s sets. The video shows Rakul preparing to take on the role of Dr. Fatima Siddiqui to play. Whether it’s her excitement of playing the character of a doctor on screen or her experience holding a newborn, the video captures all of her fun moments from the film’s sets.

A source close to the film said: “After seeing Ayushmann Khurrana on a fun journey of a hopeful orthopedist turned gynecologist and the struggles he faces as the only male doctor in a class full of women, in the trailer, the audience is very excited to see more of this campus comedy drama.While we await the movie, the makers are here with the BTS video of the movie capturing the lead actor Rakul Preet Singh and her time on the sets as she shows her character of Dr. Fatima Siddiqui.”
The actress took to social media to share the video, describing her character in the caption: “A little cheeky A pinch of innocence Dher sara fun & Doctory, Ta-da! yeh lo ban gayi Dr. Fatima Siddiqui? Here’s the look behind the screens of the sets of #DoctorG #DoctorGTrailer Out now, in theaters October 14, 2022”. In the video, the actress seems to be having a great time on the sets. She also said: “From day one, when I first hearing the narration, to signing the film, to doing the readings, it was very special.” In fact, she also had a first life experience holding a newborn baby. She confessed and added: ” I’ve never held such a newborn baby.”
Written by Sumit Saxena, Saurabh Bharat, Vishal Wagh and Anubhuti Kashyap, Doctor G stars Shefali Shah in a pivotal role alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh. The release is scheduled for October 14 in theaters.
