Raphie returns in A Christmas Story Christmas official trailer

“Life moves fast. One day you’re playing Kick the Can with kids named Flick and Schwartz. Before you know it, you’re a certified adult.” Peter Billingsley is set to reprise his role as Ralphie Parker nearly 40 years after the first episode, as the upcoming sequel, A Christmas Story Christmas, is set to arrive later this month.

HBO Max is responsible for bringing the film to life as a brand new trailer has been released, giving audiences a first glimpse of the latest holiday breakouts that Ralphie has been a part of. The film follows his character as he sets out to give his own children a magical Christmas, just like his father did in the original A Christmas Story. Sadly, Darren McGavin, who played Old Man Parker in the first film, passed away in 2006, although his presence can be felt immediately in the trailer. The official look at A Christmas Story Christmas can be found below.
