Ratan Rajput is best known as Laali of Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. The actress is now a regular vlogger on her YouTube channel. Ratan Raajputh has very good content on her channel where she takes us to the heart of India, and also gives a glimpse of life in Mumbai. In her recent video, she shared how a bad experience on the casting couch left her discouraged for a month when she came to Mumbai for an acting career. She said she had moved to Mumbai 14 years ago and met this 60-something who insulted her appearance and style of dressing. He said she needed a complete makeover which could cost more than Rs two lakh. The man told Ratan Rajput that he would not invest in her unless she took him on as her “godfather” and “friend”. He said that if she agreed, he would think about spending money.
Ratan Rajput says she was surprised to hear such things. She told him that he was old enough to be her father, and that they could be “friends.” Ratan said she took him as a mentor and would follow his advice. It seems the man lost his cool and said he wouldn’t do anything for free. Ratan Rajput recalled the line that read, “If you want to get into the acting world, stop all this drama. Be a little smart.”
What she further reveals is even more shocking. Ratan Rajput has said that when she said he was old enough to be her father, the man replied that if his daughter was an actress, he would have slept with her too. Startled, she left the place. This kept Ratan Rajput away from Bollywood and tried to make movie offers.
Ratan Rajput said she got upset when she remembered that bad experience. She says that if he runs into him now, she beat him up with a shoe for his disgusting comments about his daughter. Ratan Rajput signed off and said that no one would dare to talk to her in such an unsavory way now.
