The long-awaited movie Brahmastra, has finally been released. The audience was thrilled to see not only Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s chemistry, songs, and VFX, but Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo as well. Photos of his scene had leaked and immediately went viral, proving how much moviegoers were looking forward to seeing him. Moreover, he has not been seen in a movie for almost 4 years. Though he had a cameo in R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effecthere his role seemed much more entertaining and action-oriented, which excited his fans even more.
REVEALED: Shah Rukh Khan’s character in Brahmastra has Swades connection (SPOILERS Ahead)
It has now come to light that the character of Shah Rukh Khan in Brahmastra has a Swades link. His character is called Mohan Bhargav. This was also his name in Ashutosh Gowariker’s 2004 film. While SRK is in Swades played a NASA employee, in Brahmastrahe plays a celebrated scientist and a member of the Brahmanch secret society who possesses extraordinary power.
An industry expert said: Bollywood Hungama“It is interesting that Shah Rukh Khan in Brahmastra is called Mohan Bhargav. He is usually known for playing Rahul and Raj, but Mohan Bhargav was also a memorable character. So the moment his full name is uttered in the film, it immediately rings a bell in the minds of viewers.”
Though the film was only released today, netizens are already tweeting to praise Shah Rukh Khan’s dynamic cameo. The industry expert said: “So many videos have surfaced on the internet of viewers clapping and honking during his scenes. Imagine what will happen when he appears in a full-fledged role in Pathan! Be it the youth or the older generation, he has a following among every part of the audience. And the way they reacted to his cameo in Brahmastra should give him much-needed relief and hope for a rocking 2023.”
In addition Pathanappearing on January 25, 2023, Shah Rukh Khan will also be featured in jawanwhich will be released on June 2, 2023, and Dunkicwhich will hit theaters on December 22, 2023.
