Lisa Rinna announced her departure in January The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after eight seasons. The days of our lives Alum now reveals that “death threats” from some viewers also prompted her to leave the Bravo reality series.
“I think the world itself has become so volatile that the response isn’t consistent with what we’re doing,” she said The Evening Standard about fan reactions to her on TV. “I didn’t want to live like that. I don’t think that’s healthy. The way the fan base is reacting to the show now isn’t how it was when I started. I mean, we got death threats.”
She continued, “Some of the most terrifying things I’ve ever seen in print in my life, and it’s a reality show!” It’s a stupid show! I thought, “It’s time to go.” To be honest, I’m not sure how much longer that can last in the zeitgeist.”
Rinna’s departure came a year after the death of her mother, Lois. In the same interview he said Veronica Mars Alum says she had a vision from her mother that helped her make her final decision.
