Almost exactly 40 years ago I first met Robbie Coltrane. I was in awe / terror / love struck all at once. What depth, power and talent: funny enough to cause helpless hiccups and honks when we made our first TV show, “Alfresco”. Farewell, old man. You are so terribly missed

I will miss the random chats on all topics under the sun. And I will never forget that in September 2000 Robbie Coltrane came to a very nervous 14 year old on my first day ever on a movie set and said “Enjoy it, you will be amazing”. Thanks for that x
