Last week, Salman Khan dropped a bombshell when he announced the 16th season of his reality show Bigg Boss. In the teaser, Salman said that in 15 years everyone had played their games, but this time it’s Bigg Boss’ turn to play it. While many names have surfaced, it is now said that former Bigg Boss OTT contestant Ridhima Pandit will compete in Bigg Boss 16 along with Saath Nibhana Saathiya’s former Gopi bahu Gia Manek.
According to Tellychakkar, Gia and Ridhima have been approached by the creators of Bigg Boss 16. Talks are reportedly ongoing and it will soon be known whether it has worked out between them or not.
Last year, Ridhima was one of the participants in Bigg Boss OTT. She was considered a strong contestant, but she was eliminated from the show earlier than expected. However, her elimination did not come through the viewers, but with the majority of her fellow participants. Fans had then raised the question that Ridhima’s eviction was unfair.
When Bigg Boss 15 was announced, Ridhima’s name popped up, but for some reason something came between her and the creators. While she couldn’t be a part of last season, there’s a good chance Ridhima will get another chance to show her mettle in Bigg Boss 16.
Meanwhile, Gia’s name has also cropped up in recent seasons. But she never got a chance to be on the show. It was said that for some reason the creators and the actress did not come to an agreement over the past few seasons. It remains to be seen that Gia will come on board next season.
On the other hand, there are many names circulating about the possible Big Boss 16 entrants, including Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal, comedian and Lock Upp Season 1 winner Munawar Faruqui and TV actress Kanika Mann.
