There’s always a huge buzz around Bigg Boss 16. Salman Khan has been the show’s most beloved host for years. Suddenly there was news that Rohit Shetty could take the mantle from him this year. As we know he is super busy with movies like Bhaijaan and Tiger 3. Rohit Shetty is immensely loved as presenter of Khatron Ke Khiladi. In fact, his presence is also loved by Bigg Boss. We remember how he got on Bigg Boss 13 to appease Asim Riaz and the late Sidharth Shukla after their fights seem to cross all boundaries. He has also come for Sooryavanshi’s promotions in Bigg Boss 14.
Although news of Salman Khan’s replacement was denied by the station, sources close to Rohit Shetty have now confirmed that such unfounded claims are not true. It seems that the news is completely false. No one from the channel or Endemol has approached Rohit Shetty to host the controversial reality show. Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 is doing great on the TRP charts. The ratings are above 2. Fans love his bold attitude and how he pushes the contestants to do their best on the show. This season will be shot in Cape Town, South Africa. Rohit Shetty has been with Khatron Ke Khiladi since the fifth season except for one which was done by Arjun Kapoor.
He believes that TV has given his brand image a huge boost. Rohit Shetty creates content that is family friendly. The preparations for Bigg Boss 16 have started. The makers are in the process of casting. As of now, Faisal Shaikh, Munawar Faruqui, Kanika Mann, Jannat Zubair are apparently some of the confirmed names. Bigg Boss 16 will launch in mid-October 2022. Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus hits theaters in December 2022.
