Teen Wolf: The Movie will launch a new series of Wolf Pack and Sarah Michelle Gellar has had a first look at her character.
Sarah Michelle Gellar teased her new character Kristin Ramsey in Teen Wolf: the movie spin-off wolf packwhich she also revealed is coming to Paramount+ in January 2023. Starring Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson and Tyler Lawrence Grey, wolf pack is described as following “a teenage boy and girl whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural being. Wounded in the chaos of his attack, the teens inexplicably feel close to each other and to two others.” attracted [named Luna and Harlan] who had been adopted by a ranger sixteen years earlier after another mysterious forest fire.”
Sarah Michelle Gellar plays Kristin Ramsey in the series, an arson investigator who is described as a “highly regarded expert in her field and no stranger to personal loss.” Gellar’s character is brought into the story to investigate the bushfire and catch those responsible for starting it. While little else is known about the series’ plot, Gellar’s teasing first look at her regular TV return will be enough to get her many fans excited for the shows’ arrival early next year. Sarah Michelle Gellar Says Buffy Helped Her Prepare For Wolf Pack
Although it’s been a long time since Sarah Michelle Gellar hung up her vampire hunting boots, the actress recently told the New York Times that working on her most iconic series has certainly helped her meet the new challenges in wolf pack. She said:
“Especially now I go into my projects as an executive producer. wolf pack, for example. I have these two young girls and two young boys [acting] am working on it. I’ve made it very clear from day 1 that if there are things the production wants to talk to them about, I want them to go through me. Because I’ve been there. And I want [the performers] to always have a safe place. I always try to come in with a smile on my face and set a tone on a set. We are all equal. It doesn’t matter what job someone does, they are treated exactly the same… When I was with Buffy, I made sure I did each job at least once so I understood what everyone was doing. I held the boom; I tried to mix sound – I was really bad at it; draw focus. I think a lot of young actors say, ‘It’s my job to show up and say my lines.’ Not really. It’s your job to be part of the whole team.”
although wolf pack has always been touted as a Teen Wolf spin-off, fans shouldn’t expect any sort of crossover with the original series, as creator Jeff Davis previously confirmed that the series was set up by Teen Wolf: the moviebut is set in its own universe, meaning there are no plans for the appearance of interconnected storylines going back to the Teen Wolf series.
