Scream! Factory Promotes Michael Ribas to SVP, Marketing and Product Management – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Scream! Factory Wednesday announced the promotion of longtime senior executive Michael Ribas to senior vice president of marketing and product management.

Most recently, Ribas served as vice president of marketing at Shout! Factory since 2003, before that in editorial and product management positions at WetFeet in San Francisco.

In his senior role, Ribas will report to CEO Garson Foos and EVP of Strategy and Digital, Gene Pao, and will continue to work closely with both executives on an overall strategy that supports the company’s long-term growth. While leading the marketing and product management strategy for all initiatives and facilities except children and family entertainment, he will continue to oversee advertising, corporate branding, convention and trade show activations, digital streaming, theatrical releases, partnerships, product management and social marketing at Scream! factory, scream! Studios and Shout! TV. He is also responsible for the marketing and promotion of Shout! Mystery Science Theater 3000 Franchise that includes the new series as well as licensing and merchandising.
