Apple TV+ launched on November 1, 2019, and with the beginning came the incredible sci-fi drama To see. To see is set in an apocalyptic dystopian America, several centuries in the future, where humanity has learned to live without sight because a virus takes away the meaning. With season three just about to premiere, we can expect our lead, Jason Momoa, to go to war once again to save his family. These are the main characters of the third and final season of To see.
Baba Voss
Jason Momoa is excellent as To seemain character, Baba Voss. Baba was the leader and is one of the last remaining members of the Alkenny tribe. Baba is a fearless warrior, but will take a more docile approach that is useless to protect his family and tribe. Throughout the series, Momoa has had some of the best fight scenes of his career, including epic battles against Dave Bautista.
Maghra Kane
Hera Hilmar plays Baba Voss’ wife Maghra, who was taken in by the Alkenny people when she was pregnant with her twins. In season one it was revealed that she really was Queen Maghra of House Kane and now, in season three, she has taken her rightful place as the ruler of Payan. Maghra fiercely protects her family and her kingdom and will do anything to keep them safe.
Sibeth Kane
Blade Runner 2049Sylvia Hoeks plays Sibeth Kane, the disgraced former ruler of Payan and Maghra’s older sister. As queen, she sent her Witchfinders on a relentless mission to stop the rumor of sight returning. This mission specifically targeted Maghra’s twins and put the sisters at odds. Although Sibeth has changed her mind about the sighted, she hasn’t changed her crazy tactics to get what she wants.
Kofun
Kofun (Archie Madekwe) is the seeing son of Maghra and the heretical seeing Jerlamarel (Joshua Henry). Baba Voss is Kofun’s adoptive father and his role model. He is smart, composed and always careful, especially when seen. While he’s not a warrior like his sister, he won’t shy away from a fight if one comes his way. Fans can guarantee Kofun will take on his biggest challenge yet in season three.
Haniwa
Haniwa (Nesta Cooper) is the twin brother of Kofun and the sighted daughter of Maghra and Jerlamarel. Like her brother, Haniwa looks up en masse to her adoptive father, Baba Voss. She is more curious than her twin sister and very rebellious. She is proud, determined and a fierce warrior. Haniwa does not shy away from a fight and often looks for it.
Tamacti Jun
Tamacti Jun (Christian Camargo) was the royal tax collector and Witchfinder general under the reign of Queen Sibeth. Now that the sighted are accepted under Queen Maghra, along with his own belief that the sighted are not evil, he comes into conflict with his old company. Tamacti Jun is a brilliant man and a highly skilled warrior, whom he still displays as Payan’s chief general.
Wren
Wren (Eden Epstein) is the smart and ambitious captain of the Trivantian army. Her mentor and closest confidant was Baba Voss’ younger brother, the late Edo Voss (Dave Bautista), who was the only Trivantian who knew about her eyesight. Although Wren left Haniwa to go back to her people, you can guarantee that there are still feelings between the two.
Charlotte
Charlotte (Olivia Cheng) is a fierce warrior and one of the last protectors of the Alkenny tribe. Charlotte has absolutely no filter and is not afraid to say what she thinks, especially to Haniwa. Charlotte was tasked with protecting Haniwa because of her gift of sight and takes her job very seriously.
Lord Harlan
Sleepy Hollow‘s Tom Mison plays Lord Harlan, the ruler of the city of Pennsa (the new capital of Payan). He is smart, cunning and a gifted talker. Harlan and Maghra were childhood friends, which led them to make the political arrangement to get married, much to the dismay of Maghra’s family. Although Harlan has feelings for Maghra, he respects her wishes and knows that her heart is with Baba.
Tormada
Tormada (David Hewlett) is the chief science officer of the Trivantian army. With the help of Jerlamarel’s eldest sighted son, Oloman (Dayo Okeniyi), Tormada develops a devastating weapon that will change the course of warfare for the world of To see. With his sights set on Payan, there’s no telling what Tormada will do.

With only a few action-packed episodes to the season so far, fans can expect a season filled with combat, drama and the ever-great Jason Momoa. To see is now streaming on Apple TV+.
