However, it appears that last season’s famed Sharks Ashneer Grover, founder of Bharat Pay, and Ghazal Alagh, co-founder of MamaEarth, are not returning this season. The new shark who has entered the second season of ‘Shark Tank India’ is Amit Jain, CEO and co-founder of Car Dekho Group. The show would be hosted by stand-up comedian Rahul Dua. The corporate reality show ‘Shark Tank’ was first created by Mark Burnett in the year 2009. The pitch of the show was very simple. Investors who invest in various companies act as judges on the show and have to pitch their business ideas to budding business people.
The talk of some of these judges getting paid to appear on the show has also surfaced. The corporate reality show ‘Shark Tank’ has aired 12 seasons in the US so far. The show was first released by ABC.
Production of the corporate reality show ‘Shark Tank’ was also started by its creator Mark Burnett under the banner of his company. Then One Three Media took over the production tasks. Later, the United Artists Media Group continued as a production banner. It became famous when MGM Television caught sight of the show.
Sony Pictures Television took part in the production last year. It also won Prime Time Emmy Awards from 2014 to 2017, after which the category in which these awards were presented was discontinued.
