Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, the self-titled film, which was shot in Spain, started a new shooting schedule in Mumbai a few days ago. However, the shooting had to be stopped due to a major accident on the sets of the film. The sets made in the suburbs of Mumbai have been completely destroyed by a fire accident. However, there were no casualties, but some crew members suffered minor injuries.

A few hours ago, large smoke from Chitrakoot Ground in Andheri West, Mumbai caught the attention of onlookers. It was soon reported that a fire had broken out on the sets of Luv Ranjan’s film. While the fire brigade soon arrived, it appears that the fire burned about 3 floors of the set and the creators are said to have suffered a heavy loss as a result of the accident. According to the ETimes news report, another set that may have suffered from this fire is that of Rajshri Productions. “All three floors of the sets burned down. Rajshri and Luv Ranjan both packed their sets as soon as the fire started. There is some chaos here as people are saying some crew members are missing, we don’t have the exact details yet,” an FWICE member said in these reports.
However, these reports claim that neither Ranbir Kapoor nor Shraddha Kapoor were present on the sets of the films during the incident. A source was quoted in the portal as saying: “Luv Ranjan would complete one of the biggest songs of the film on this set. 400 dancers would be part of the song. They had already recorded part of the song with Shraddha Kapoor, what was her introductory song she got sick and the shoot had to be put on hold while Ranbir Kapoor would join her after his shamshera release. The team would resume shooting from the next day.”
