In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reportertold Dave Filoni about his experience working on the coming Ahsoka series. Filoni expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming show, saying he enjoys the experience of writing and directing it. He also revealed that there is still a lot of work to be done, but he has an incredibly talented team backing him up. He remained cautiously optimistic about the show.

“I’m really enjoying it,” Filoni revealed when asked how post-production was going. “It’s something I never thought I’d be doing, just like I’ve been doing all these different things over the years with Star Wars. Writing and directing and collaborating on this stuff with so many people is just the pinnacle of the mountain for me at this point. There’s a lot of work to be done, but I have an incredibly talented team around me supporting it. So I’m cautiously optimistic,” he added. “But the fans will let me know. They always do.”
