The star-studded event, South Indian International Movie Awards, saw numerous celebrities grace the Sandalwood and Tollywood red carpet. Apart from them, popular Bollywood director-producer Anees Bazmee also marked his presence in the 10th edition of SIIMA and talked about his connection with it.

Interestingly, while addressing the media, Bazmee claimed, “Mera bhot purana comparison hai. I must have written more than 15 movies here (South Indian film industry), and many directors, producers, actors, (including) Chiranjeevi sir , Allu Arvind, (Ram) Charan, many people I know.
Explaining his connection to the award ceremony, Anees added: “Many people I know from the SIIMA and Telugu, Tamil and Kannad industries. And, Mr. Vishnu, he is a dear friend.”
The 59-year-old filmmaker also spoke about the success of his recent directorial project, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He said: “Not just me, everyone of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2) team, they are very excited and happy. God is kind. Logon ka pyaar mila, logon ko movie bhot pasand achi lagi. We wanted to make a very special film, this was the plan from the start. And we are happy that the plan is a success.”
Speaking of the award night, it is held in Bengaluru and is widely planned by Brinda Prasad Adusumilli and Vishnu Induri. The winners of Telugu and Kannada films were honored on the first day, which was September 10, while the winners of the Tamil and Malayalam films were to be honored on September 11.
