Sonakshi Sinha’s Upcoming Thriller, Nikita Roy and Book of Darkness has piqued the public’s curiosity since its launch. Be it the unusual title, the eclectic cast or the intriguing genre, the film hits all the right notes. The film went on floors in London and was shot in the British capital and other parts of the United Kingdom. The film stars Sonakshi alongside Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar in pivotal roles and marks the directorial debut of Sonakshi’s brother Kussh Sinha.

You hear that the makers packed their film well before the end of the agreed schedule. The film had a 40-day program in London, but wrapped in a record time of just 35 days. They also shot for a two-day series in Mumbai. The producers are delighted with the speed with which the makers executed the project.
On this subject, lead actress Sonakshi says: “It was a great shoot and a very special one for me, as I got to play the lead role in my brothers’ first film. The fine ensemble of the film inspired me to do more and better. It was my first time working with Paresh ji and what an honor to share screen space with him. The shoot was challenging and therefore so much more fun. I had a great time shooting with this device.”
Arjun says, “Although it was a short shoot for me, it was a very memorable one. It’s such a unique character that Kussh wanted me to portray. It was challenging to get so many emotions in a cameo, but I think that we made it happen Sonakshi who I first worked with she is very relaxed and we had good chemistry Reuniting with Paresh Rawal was absolutely lovely The London countryside is always serene and magical to be in shooting. Producer Nicky Bhagnani says: “A first film is a huge honor for any producer, and Vicky and I worked with a dream team. We were all hands on deck on the project and worked seamlessly with each other’s vision. Good planning is key to everything and I’m glad we finished it well ahead of time.”
Actor Paresh Rawal said: “It has been a pleasure to work with young talents on this film, especially our energetic producers Nicky and Vicky Bhagnani. They have been excellent producers. I thought it was such well groomed guys. chasing dreams. This is also our director Kussh’s first film, but we never realized it because he is so master of his vision and his craft and knows exactly what to get out of his actors. It is a mark of a great director. This was a great team. It was my first time working with Sonakshi-ji. She is such a sharp actress. Together we explored such an out-of-the-box topic that is covered so well. I can’t wait for everyone to see the movie.”
Nikita Roy and the Book of Darkness is produced by Nicky & Vicky Bhagnani & Ankur Takrani of Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Film, Kratos Entertainment, Kinjal Ghone of Nikita Pai Films and Dinesh Gupta. Directed by Kussh S Sinha, the film stars Sonakshi Sinha, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar and is expected to be released in 2023.
