Stranger Things’ Paul Reiser talks about his possible return from season 5.

As part of their nostalgic 80s feel, Weird stuff made a perfect choice when casting Paul Reiser in the role of Dr. Owens in season 2 of the Netflix show, but after the horror series’ climax, many wondered if his character’s story has now come to an end. Recently talked to e! OnlineReiser spoke about his possible return to the series in the fifth and final season.

Paul Reiser was known to many as James Cameron’s human villain Aliens. In the 1986 action blockbuster, Reiser played Carter Burke, whose plans to monetize the discovery of the Xenomorphs as biological weapons go horribly wrong and he ends up on the wrong side of one of the acid-blooded creatures for his troubles. When it comes to Weird stuffReiser is one of several actors known to have played fantasy, sci-fi or horror roles in the show in the 1980s. Others included Sean Astin, Robert England and of course Winona Ryder, who made one of her first appearances in Tim Burton’s beetle juice in 1988.

While Ryder is in battle to the very end, Reiser’s fate is a little less certain. As one of the characters whose season 4 “end” was virtually nonexistent, it would be a shame if his central character went out as an afterthought. However, Reiser doesn’t seem to know what will happen, even after asking the Weird stuff Twitter account about his fate itself. He told e! Online:

“I literally don’t know. The Stranger Things writers’ room tweeted, “Hey everyone, send us your thoughts for next season. What would you like to see?’ And I wrote, ‘Can Dr. Owen’s life? Would it be possible?’

Weird stuff Will return for another season, but will the whole gang survive?

After four wildly successful seasons, Weird stuff, or at least the main series, will be canceled on Netflix. That means anything goes, and for star Maya Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley, that really means some people have to die in the final episodes. While she was recently discussing her new movie take revengesays Hawke rolling stone that she thinks there are too many characters in the show, and that’s why some should go. She said:

“It’s the last season, so people are probably going to die. I’d love to die and have my hero’s moment. I’d love to die honorably like any actor would. But I like the way it is.” [showrunners] the Duffer Brothers love their actors. The reason they write so beautifully for me and for everyone else is because they fall in love with their actors and their characters, and don’t want to kill them. I think that’s a nice quality they have, and I wouldn’t want to lose it.”

Of course, fans were devastated when one of the newest entrants to the show, Eddie Munson, bit the dust on the season 4 finale and even petitioned to bring him back. However, as Hawke said, the show’s end is coming and unless it’s going to be a complete subterfuge, which isn’t like the way the Duffer Brothers want the show to be remembered, then it’ll have to make some tough cuts in the coming season. . Whether this also includes bringing Paul Reiser back to earn a hero’s death is something we’ll have to wait and see to find out.
