Rupali Ganguly’s show Anupamaa has been popular since the morning because Paras Kalnawat was kicked out of the show for breach of contract when he signed the show of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Paras was discouraged by this move by producer Rajan Shahi. While Paras has shown the exit door at night, the creators are looking for his replacement. The other members of the show such as Sudhanshu Pandey spoke of Paras’ immediate departure and somehow his fans feel that the actor is also hinting at his departure. While there have been strong reports that Sudhanshu aka Vanraj is unhappy with less screen time and has decided to leave the show, he has expressed his shock at Paras’ departure.
In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Sudhanshu said he was unaware of Paras’ departure, saying, “We were all shocked. I also spoke to Paras and asked him ‘How come?’ I had a conversation with him last night I think there is a reason why this happened Sometimes there are certain things that we do without realizing that it can go the wrong way and even if you try to set them right, time passes.”
Speaking in support of Paras, he adds that it’s no one’s fault and everyone has their sensitivities and understanding for doing things. He even added that once he has made a choice, he must stick to it. That said, the actor even said he will miss him and he was a part of the show from the start. Sudhanshu concludes by calling Paras’s departure unfortunate.
While Rajan Shahi said in his statement that they have terminated the service of Paras Kalnawat from the show.
He said: “We as a production house will not accept any breach of contract. We have terminated his services as an actor with immediate effect. We wish him all the best for his future endeavours.” The actor can soon be seen in a dance reality show.
