If a report from ETimes is anything to go by, close sources told them he had to run while performing a scene on set, in which his balance deteriorated. Then he suddenly fell. The actor was injured in the process. He immediately received medical attention and rested.
So Amit Bhatt does not shoot Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah because of the injury. The makers have also expanded their support and don’t want him to hit the sets until he’s fully recovered.
Speaking of the show, it’s been running on TV for 14 years. The fans of this show are people of all ages. Jethalal, Babita ji and Dayaben are quite popular in this. Although Dayaben has been missing from the show for quite some time. It is also India’s longest running sitcom.
