As she rides high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and with a plethora of movies in multiple languages, busy actress Tabu talks about breaking the age myth when it comes to actresses. She was also asked about her glowing skin and her beauty secrets even at age 50, and the actress had a quirky and witty answer. In a recent interview, when asked about age reversal, she laughed it off but also claimed she doesn’t have a specific routine that she follows. However, she was also candid about the kind of advice she gets from her makeup artist.
Tabu talks about her beauty secrets, talks about reverse aging; confesses to having bought a Rs. 50,000 cream
In an interview with Film Companion, Tabu said: “Koi secret nahi hai (There is no secret). Mithali, my makeup artist, told me, ‘Ma’am, the skin looks good, you are doing a home remedy or what?’ Some days I will tell her that I make coffee here, and some plant there, and she will say ‘You can’t do that, you must use this cream’, and she will suggest some Rs 50,000 cream.Ek baar khareed liya , bass. Aage nahi khareedungi (I bought it once, but never again).”
While talking about avoiding such lavish spending on her skin and face, she also touched on the importance of staying fit and healthy, not just for an actor, but for everyone. “There’s nothing I consciously do for my face and stuff, but of course I’m aware that I can look better a certain way. I won’t intentionally ruin anything that detracts from… But that goes for everyone, even if you’re not an actor. Everyone wants to look good and maintain a certain level of being presentable, fit, healthy and mentally present. I’ll do my best,” she concluded.
The actress is coming to the Bollywood front and will reunite with her favorite co-star Ajay Devgn for two more movies – Drishyam 2which is expected to be released soon, and, Bholathat is a remake of tamil movie Kaithi.
