Today, the creators of Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer NBK107 announced the title of the film. The Shruti Haasan starrer is titled Veer Simha Reddy and it will hit the big screens in Sankranti 2023. Interestingly, there are three other major releases scheduled for the same date, including mega 154 with Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, Prabhas starrer adipurushand Thalapathy Vijay starrer varisu. While the releases were eager to cash in on the festive season, it looks like South Cinema is all set to experience one of the biggest clashes ever with four superstars hitting theaters on the same date.

Comes to Veer Simha Reddy, the film features Nandamuri Balakrishna alongside Shruti Haasan. Previously referred to as NBK107, the film is being touted as a mass action entertainer. Shruti Haasan is starring in this project, which is expected to be widely made under Mythri Movie Makers and also Duniya Vijay, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Chandrika Ravi, among others from the ensemble cast.
On the other hand, Mega154 is another title. The film will bring together two big names in Telugu cinema. One is the megastar Chiranjeevi and the other is the popular star Ravi Teja. Interestingly, Shruti Haasan also stars in this movie. It is touted to be an action drama with Chiranjeevi as the smuggler and Ravi as the agent. Again, produced under Mythri Movie Makers, the film is directed by filmmaker Bobby.
Speaking of varisu, the film is a bilingual film starring Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna for the first time. The film, which also has the title vaarasudu in Telugu, has an extensive cast ensemble that includes Prabhu, Jayasudha, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, Srikanth, Shaam, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu in the cast. The movie is directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
Talk about adipurush, the film is a Pan India movie with extensive VFX that retells the epic battle of Ramayana. While Prabhas plays the role of Ram Kriti plays Sanon Seeta while Saif Ali Khan plays Lankeshwar aka Raavan in this Om Raut director. Although a teaser was recently released, the film is expected to be released on January 12, 2023.
