The month of October this year seems to be quite happening for Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra. With Diwali just around the corner, the actor is promoting his upcoming movie Thank you. Despite having a work schedule, the actor has managed to carve out some time to start his Diwali 2022 celebration.
Thank you star Sidharth Malhotra kicks off Diwali celebrations with children undergoing cancer treatment
For the inexperienced, Malhotra took his social media handle and shared a photo of him along with Thank you co-star Rakul Preet Singh. The photo also showed a couple of children undergoing cancer treatment. “Diwali celebrations started a little early this year and the reason behind it is as bright as the festive lights,” Sidharth wrote.
Further adding, the SOTY actor wrote: “These angels from @accesslifeindia are currently undergoing cancer treatment but they are brave and joyful enough to make you feel happy and content.” His short article concluded: “This Diwali I promise that I will continue to support and spread awareness about various NGOs across the country.”
In the photo, Sidharth can be seen in an all-red avatar with a co-ord set, while Rakul looked stunning in a pink bodycon dress. A section of Sid’s 21.2 million Instagram family flooded the comments section with red heart emojis. “We are proud of you, thank you for taking this initiative,” wrote one fan club, while another added: “You are a real gem.”
The NGO also shared some inside photos of Rakul and Sidharth’s visit. The images show the stars listening to the stories of the little ones as they play and dance with them. One of the photos shows Rakul handing out fruit among them.
Coming to their upcoming movie, Thank you, it also stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role. The comedy-drama is slated to release on October 25. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film was made under the production banner of T-Series and Maruti International.
