The Fed adds 9 episodes to ABC

ABC has lengthened its sentence for “The Rookie: Fed”, adding nine episodes to the spinoff series, bringing its total Season 1 episode count to 22.

The Niece Nash-starring procedural, which is based on the flagship “The Rookie”, debuted on September 27 and increased its rating (from 0.31 to 1.53) five-fold in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic after delays in multiplatform viewing. After a week of linear and digital viewing, its series debut garnered an additional 4 million viewers on top of Nielsen’s live plus a single-day average of 2.2 million.
