The episode has now achieved 1.34 in demo, a 244% increase from the 0.4 it managed in Live+ same-day ratings, placing it ahead of NBC’s “Quantum Leap” for the ratings crown.

The total viewership for the episode has exceeded 4 million, which now sits at 7.8 million people.
It marks a steady performance for the start of Season 6, matching the ratings of the Season 5 finale and surpassing it in total viewership. The May episode was watched by a total of 6.4 million viewers in the seven days after airing.
“The Good Doctor” Season 6 was pretty solid right out of the gate, managing even with Season 5 averages in Live + Same Day Data.
